A very hectic day which started very early - we woke at 5.30am. We have made some attempt to adjust our body clocks but seem stuck on East Coast time at the moment!
Our hotel is great. There is a separate bedroom, kit
chen and bathroom and we have a lot of space in which to make a mess. The plant manager had sorted us a rental car out so we went to pick that up. Unfortunately, but joyously for Ed, they didn't have the medium sized car we had reserved so they upgraded us for free to a Ford Flex, a 'car' which makes Ed look small -->

We seem to have brought the Manchester rain with us, although I suspect it was already here, so visibilty has been pretty bad. We sorted out a few practical bits, social security number and bank account and managed to fit in to our busy schedule a stop off for some all american fries for Eddie. We are yet to find any wedges!!
